Blackjack Hall of Fame

The Blackjack Hall of fame honours some of the greatest names in the history of Blackjack and is based in the Barona Casino in San Diego, California.

The current members of the Blackjack Hall of Fame are:

Edward O. Thorp – author of the Blackjack book "Beat the Dealer"

Ken Uston – who popularised team play in Blackjack

Arnold Snyder – the author and editor of the "Blackjack Forum" trade journal

Stanford Wong – author and inventor of the "Wonging" Blackjack technique

Al Francesco – One of the original proponents of “team play” and one of the world’s most famous Blackjack players.

Peter Griffen – Mathematician and author of The Theory of Blackjack (highly recommended).

Tommy Hyland – Manager of one of the longest running Online Blackjack teams.

Max Rubin – Top gambling media reporter.

Keith Taft – Inventor who built hidden computerised devices to aid Blackjack game play.

Julian Braun – Pioneering Blackjack author who was one of the first to use computers to analyse Blackjack statistics.

Lawrence Revere – Blackjack teacher and author of Playing Blackjack as a Business.

James Grosjean – Author of Beyond Counting and a computer analyst.

John Chang – Former MIT Blackjack team manager and the basis for the Mickey Rosa character in the movie 21.

Roger Baldwin, Wilbert Cantey, Herbert Maisel and James McDermott who discovered and published the first accurate basic Blackjack strategy using desk calculators.
